Security expert gives talk today in Evergreen
Political scientist Joel Skousen will do a presentation on world affairs and “How to Prepare for the Future” at 7 p.m. today in Evergreen.
Skousen, who specializes in the philosophy of law and constitutional theory, also is a designer of high-security residences and retreats. He has designed self-sufficient and high-security homes throughout North America, and has consulted in Central America as well.
His latest book in this field is “Strategic Relocation: North American Guide to Safe Places.”
He also assists people who need to live near a large city to develop contingency retreat plans involving rural farm or recreation property.
In the 1980s, Skousen served as chairman of the Conservative National Committee in Washington, D.C., and concurrently served as the executive editor of Conservative Digest. In 1984, he wrote “Essential Principles for the Conservation of Liberty.” Today he publishes the World Affairs Brief as a weekly email newsletter and a monthly print edition. The presentation will be held at The Gymnasium located behind the church building at 325 E. Evergreen Dr.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and there is a suggested donation of $5. The event is hosted by Montana Patriot Ammunition and Grizzly Town Allstate.
