Jacques 'Jack' Theodore Leverenz, 87

Jacques ‘Jack’ Theodore Leverenz, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014. He was surrounded by his wife Barbara and their three daughters, Barbara (David), Jane (Kirk) and Wendy.

Jack was born in Chicago in 1926, where he grew up.

In 1945, he served his country in the Army Air Force. After service, he graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he met Barbara. They raised their children in Chicago and moved to Whitefish in 2000. Also, surviving are eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

No memorial service is planned.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the North Valley Hospital staff and to Frontier Hospice for their skill and kindness shown to Jack.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Frontier Hospice, 42 Bruyer Way, Kalispell MT 59901; or to Shepherd’s Hand Clinic, 5150 River Lakes Parkway, Whitefish MT 59937.
