Pink Me Up! race planned on Sunday
The Pink Me Up! race is returning at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, at Kidsports in Kalispell.
The nontimed 1k/5k color run kicks off Kalispell Regional Medical Center’s push for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
All participants start the race in white shirts and as they pass certain stations along the course, they get plastered in various colors of powder.
There will be a dance party and giveaways at the finish, and everyone will get the chance to throw more color at the end of the race in a celebration of life.
The cost for cancer survivors, students and seniors is $8. Individual adults pay $18 and a family of five pays $40. All proceeds support programs for cancer survivors and their families.
The event is limited to the first 3,000 people who register.
