Ethel K. Ott, 100

Ethel K. Ott, 100, passed away April 13, 2015, in Kalispell. 

Ethel was born Jan. 5, 1915, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and spent her years growing up in Milwaukee. 

After graduating, she trained as a professional dietitian in Fort Meyers, Florida. 

In 1938, Ethel married Russell Ott in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. They were married for 37 years before Russell passed away. 

Ethel worked as a dietitian for Shady Rest Nursing Home, in Lehigh Acres, Florida, from 1975 until 1982. She loved volunteering at various nursing homes in Florida. Ethel enjoyed swimming, serving others, bingo, bridge and croquet. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; parents, Otto and Minnie Klug; sister, Mabel Schafer; and brother, Raymond Klug. 

Ethel is survived by her daughter, Phyllis W. Victory; grandchildren, Marquis Laude, Jody Bialkowski, Adrianne Victory and Michael Victory;  great-grandchildren, Aiden Victory, Alan Bialkowski, Michael Bialkowski, Daniel Bialkowski, Caitlan Kessinger and  Benjamin Ammons; and two great-great-grandchildren, Dawson Bialkowski and Gauge Barns. 

A celebration of life for Ethel was held April 15 at the Immanuel Lutheran Home, 185 Crestline Avenue in Kalispell. 

The family would appreciate donations to Immanuel Lutheran Home instead of flowers.
