Dennis L. Kinniburgh, 49, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at his residence. 

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life is planned for a later date in Marion. Memorial services in Havre will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 3003 County Road 650 W.

Dennis was born on Nov. 25, 1965, in Kalispell, to Dale and Juanita (Patton) Kinniburgh. He was raised in Marion and Kalispell, graduating from Flathead High School in 1983. 

He married Theresa Barron in 1992 in Kalispell, and the couple’s union was blessed with three sons. They lived in Flathead and Lincoln counties, while Dennis logged. They moved to Havre in 2000, where Dennis co-owned Bear Paw Boulder & Veneer with his father. He lost his beloved Theresa in 2010, and health issues prevented him from working for the past several years.

Dennis enjoyed exploring historical sites, ghost towns, geographic features, caves and craters, lakes and mountains with his family. He adored his family, and time spent with them was treasured.

Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Theresa Kinniburgh; his brother, Dale Kinniburgh, Jr.; and his father, Dale Kinniburgh.

He is survived by his beloved sons, Patrick Kinniburgh of North Dakota, and Paul Kinniburgh, and Peter Kinniburgh and Dawna Keeley, all of Havre; his grandson; his mother, Juanita Kinniburgh, of Havre; his sister, Juanetta,  and Matt Schrepfer, of Eureka; his brothers, David and Muffy Kinniburgh of Minnesota, and Danny Kinniburgh of Louisiana; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
