| April 23, 2015 7:40 PM

June R. Grill, 95, passed away on April 18, 2015, at Beehive Homes in Columbia Falls.

She was born on June 22, 1919, in Hammond, Indiana, to Elmer and Mary L. Regnier. When she was a child the family moved to Joliet, Montana.

June married Theodore Grill on Feb. 24, 1939, in Joliet, where they resided until his death in 1982. She then moved to Billings where she lived until coming to Columbia Falls in 2010.

June was an artist who painted with both oils and watercolors. She was a china painter who created many beautiful china pieces and dolls. She also used her kiln and pottery wheel to make many beautiful gifts for family and friends. She was an accomplished seamstress who made much of her children’s clothing, plus quilts for her children and grandchildren. When not involved with one of these projects you could find her reading a good mystery. Her travels took her on several cruises. She also traveled to Europe, Hawaii and many of the other 50 states. She was a 4-H leader for many years and a member of the Joliet Episcopal Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Linette McJunkin of Coupeville, Washington, Diana Cowan and Richard of Kalispell, and Teddie Price of Seeley Lake; and one son, Robert, and Starla of Huson.

She is survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Juanita Spaulding and Patricia Hennen of California and Sharon Frank of Billings; along with several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church located at 119 North 33rd St. in Billings. A private burial will be held on Sunday at the Joliet Cemetery.

A special thanks to the staff of Beehive Homes who have given June such wonderful care these last five years, and to Home Options Hospice for the great care they provided this last month.

Remembrances can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
