Libby splits with C-Falls in tennis

LIBBY — Libby and Columbia Falls split a Northwestern A tennis dual on Thursday.

The Libby boys rolled through singles play with two-set victories and prevailed in three setters at No. 2-3 doubles to post a 7-0 victory.

Libby’s Walter Briones won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.

The Columbia Falls girls netted wins at Nos. 1-2-3 singles and Nos. 2-3 doubles for a 5-2 win over Libby.

The lone three-set match for girl was won by Libby at No. 1 doubles with Jenna Barrick and Cloie Boardner, 7-5, 5-7, 6-3.
