lone L. Marsh , 82

lone L. Marsh died in Kalispell on April 19, 2015, after an extended illness. She was 82 years old. She had resided at the Heritage Place in Kalispell.

Ione was born on Aug. 27, 1932, in Whitetail, Montana. She attended Swan River School.

She worked as a bartender and cook in many places around Kalispell. She was retired.

Ione’s greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses at an early age.

She is survived by three daughters, Nita Hill of Kalispell and husband Daniel Yates of Spokane, Diane Dill and husband Carey Dill of Kalispell, and Becky Hill of Kalispell.

She is also survived by two brothers, Arnold Marsh of Kalispell and William Marsh of Plains; three sisters, Ruth Gray of Lynnwood, Washington, Louceal Sinclair and Joanne Strawn of Kalispell; seven grandchildren, Donald and Brian Coldiron of Butte, Bradford Jones of Beaverton, Oregon, Sarah Disney of Spokane, Sandra McLees of Las Vegas, Derek Hill of Kalispell and Caleb Hoeldt of Kalispell; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Nellie and Fred Marsh; five brothers, three sisters, and an infant son.

We would like to give a special thank you to the nurses and aides in the El Dorado wing of the Heritage Place for taking such wonderful care of our mother.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 1414 Woodland Avenue in Kalispell. There will be a potluck shortly after the services at the backroom of the VFW located at 330 First Avenue West in Kalispell
