Louise (Amundson) Myles, 78

Louise (Amundson) Myles, 78, died July 16, 2015, at The Springs in Whitefish.

Louise was born Sept. 17, 1936, to parents Helen and Anton Amundson, homesteaders in the Bear Paws Mountains due west of Dillon Bottom. In 1943, the homestead was sold and the family moved to Evergreen on Spring Creek.

Louise spent first grade at Shambo School in the Bear paws, then Evergreen, Flathead County High School and Northern Montana College in Havre.

At college, she met and later married Earl Myles. They had three sons, Mike, Ron and Tim.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; one son, Ron; her parents; two sisters; and three brothers.

She is survived by sons Mike and Tim; and brother, Anton “Tony” Amundson; also by other nieces, nephews, etc.

Cremation was done and no special services are planned.
