Large loads pass through Kalispell

If everything went according to plan, two oversized loads of refinery equipment moved through the Flathead Valley Wednesday night on their way to Great Falls and then Canada, according to Gary Engman of the Montana Department of Transportation.

“We don’t consider these megaloads because of the weight,” Engman said, adding the loads nonetheless, at 255 feet, are the longest that have passed through the area.
