Columbia Falls firefighters check out a vehicle accident Thursday on U.S. 2. No one was seriously injured when a car crashed into the guardrail on the bridge over the Flathead River. The driver of the Ford Edge Sport apparently passed out at the wheel and swerved into the guardrail. The man and his wife, both vacationing from Chicago, were headed from Great Falls to Kalispell. The eastbound vehicle ended up facing west in the center turn lane near the Teakettle Fishing Access. (Becca Parsons/Hungry Horse News)
