LETTER: Gravelpalooza!

My son, grandson and I attended the fundraiser benefiting the Community Action Partnership of NW Montana this past Saturday. It was graciously hosted by LHC at their concrete plant.

We didn’t explain where we were going, so it was a surprise to my grandson. When we arrived at the plant and he saw all the many, many pieces of equipment, he said “WOW.” He was able to actually drive and move dirt and rocks in the enormous machinery. There was face painting, sand boxes and rides in the dump and concrete trucks.

This was a great community gathering and such fun for the kids (big and small!). Thank you all for your work and stamina in the hot sun!!  Out of the mouths of babes, “WOW”. —Mary Ann Lavelle, Kalispell
