Dennis Lynn Baldwin, 68

Dennis Lynn Baldwin, 68, of Kila, passed away Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, in Scottsdale, Arizona, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place.

Dennis was born on Dec. 9, 1946, to the late William and Connie (King) Baldwin in Flint, Michigan.

He married Joan Zauner on June 3, 1967, in Linden, Michigan.

Dennis worked for General Motors after high school graduation for 10 years as a machine repair machinist until he followed his dream of living in the West. He moved his family to Kila in 1975 where he made a living building beautiful, custom log homes and thoroughly enjoyed his life there. His passion was building log homes, racing ‘60s muscle cars, hunting and exploring the outdoors with his family. He lived as he dreamed.

Surviving are his wife, Joan, of Kila; his eldest son, Pete Baldwin, and his wife, Karen Schulz, of Scottsdale; daughter, Jennifer, and her husband, Addison Clark, and their two children Joshua and Katie Clark, of Kalispell; and youngest son, Randy Baldwin, and his wife, Shelley Smith, and their two children Cora and Jake, of Kila. Dennis has two sisters, Diane and Kris; and six brothers, Bruce, Dana, Paul, Blake, Jeff and Matt Baldwin. Dennis had many cousins, nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends.

His life was well lived and he will forever live in our hearts!
