Judith A. Bronson, 74

Judith A. Bronson, 74, passed away at her residence at Buffalo Hill Terrace on Aug. 25, 2015, after battling brain cancer.

Judy was born Jan. 11, 1941, in Kalispell to Rudolph and Eileen Streit. She was a lifelong resident of Kalispell, graduating from Flathead County High School in 1959.

She married Ronald Bronson in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on Oct. 1, 1960. They were married for 53 years and raised three children.

Judy was a secretary with the Evergreen School system for many years. She loved music and was a piano teacher, a member of Sweet Adelines and played the piano for worship group at church. Judy thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren and loved swimming with them at their place on McGregor Lake and challenging them to games of Skip-Bo and Scrabble.

Judy had a very deep faith in Christ and was a longtime member of the Kalispell Four Square Church. She found the good and beauty in all things and was an inspiration to everyone she knew. It was this faith and attitude that carried her through her first battle with brain cancer in 2011. Judy touched many lives and will be remembered and loved by everyone who met her.

 Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Eileen Streit; and her husband, Ron Bronson.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Susan, and Tom Wynne, of Kalispell; son, Doug Bronson, of Milwaukie, Oregon; daughter, Julie, and Geron Wade, of Florence; brother, Dale Streit, of Missoula; brother, Kirk, and Sandy Streit, of Kalispell; seven grandchildren, Kaitlen Wynne and McKenna Wynne of Missoula, Sean Wynne of Kalispell, Meghan and Shea Bradshaw of Lolo, Colton and Meghan Manfredi, currently serving in South Korea, Clifford Wade of Stevensville, and Randall Wade of Fort Drum, New York; and one great grandchild, Tian Bradshaw of Lolo. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Edie Kaps, of Kalispell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family would like to request memorial donations be made to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Attn: Donations, P.O. Box 19023, Seattle, WA 98109; or to Home Options Hospice, 275 Corporate Drive, Suite 600, Kalispell, MT 59901.

A private family service is planned for a later date.
