LETTER: Seat belt rant drives another reader into tizzy

Re: Dec. 3, 2015 letter, “Should the government dictate seat-belt rules for all?”

It would appear that someone (the letter writer, perhaps) just received his first not-wearing-a-seat-belt ticket.

What a rant! Nice work on that “John/whore” analogy. Personally, I think those Walk/Don’t Walk signs should be outlawed. Oh wait, I forgot, this is not a pedestrian-friendly town. But still, I should have the right to dodge cars as I race across the street.

Should I get a ticket I will immediately blame the police, judges, insurance companies, big government and my mother, as she did not adequately explain “Stupid” to me. —Diane E. Myslicki, Kila
