LETTER: We the People need to stand up for our rights

| December 16, 2015 7:25 PM

You all know about the killing of 14 people in San Bernardino by a Muslim and his wife. This man worked in the place of the attack. What you might not know is he had a good salary and was allowed to go home several times a day, with pay, to pray to his God.

I got a phone call from a Christian group a couple of days ago telling me about a high school football coach in the state of Washington being suspended because he prayed to his God with his team. If Christians do not stand up for their right to pray to their God when they want or need to, we are done. God will not forgive us.

We the people will be heard if we the people stand up and let our beliefs be known. Muslim children are praying in public schools all around this country. If we do not stand up for our constitutional rights and our rights as a free people, more are going to die. Good people doing nothing is a crime.

Stand up and be heard. Please ask everyone you know to stand up and be heard. —Pat Arnone, Kalispell
