LETTER: Trump is trouble

If Donald Trump can make disparaging comments about the other Republican candidates and Mexican immigrants, women, “the blacks” (his words), disabled people and now Muslims in general, then I can make disparaging comments about Donald Trump.

He is playing his followers with his hateful words, inciting violence and even encouraging people to spy on their neighbors. Nazism, anyone?

Now after two horrible attacks on innocent people (Planned Parenthood and San Bernardino shootings), he says he does not believe that the family of the male shooter did not know what was going on with the brother, son. Where does he get his intelligence? Or is this just his ignorant opinion without factual knowledge? This smacks of grandiosity taking advantage of terrible tragedies.

I cannot fathom a Donald Trump presidency. His solution to everything is to be so “tough” that the enemy won’t know what hit them. Exactly what are his solutions to the problems America faces? He won’t say; he claims he can’t tell. He doesn’t have any real answers. He is leading his sheep to slaughter, and they don’t even know it. —Margie Gignac, Yucaipa, California
