Taking the plunge on New Year's Day

A group of daring swimmers plunge into Flathead Lake during the Polar Bear Plunge at the Raven Brew Pub on Thursday. The water temperature was about 35 degrees and the air temperature was about 20 degrees. Close to 100 people took the plunge. (Aaric Bryan/Daily Inter Lake)
