Twins have telephone trouble

A 12-year-old boy called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office on Friday afternoon saying that his twin sister’s phone was stuck on the 911 screen. The girl could be heard screaming in the background. The pair were home alone, so a deputy stopped by and told them to shut the phone down and wait for their folks to get home. 

A Whitefish man noticed his dog had been acting like it wasn’t feeling well, so he took it to the vet to find the pooch had been shot with a pellet gun. 

A dog attacked and killed a rooster on Frontier Trail in Kalispell. 

A keno runner at a Columbia Falls casino reported receiving a counterfeit $20 bill. 

 

A woman called Columbia Falls Police on Friday after being approached by a bail bondsman by whom she felt threatened. 

Someone threw an object at a double-paned window on Sixth Avenue West on Friday and broke it. Tracks were left in the snow by the culprit, which were followed to the school nearby.

 

A landlord called Whitefish Police on Friday after he evicted a tenant who had left all of his belongings out in the yard. 

A man reported hearing multiple shots from what sounded like a machine gun Friday evening.
