The Animal Planet series “Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters” will return for a second season with episodes based in Montana areas such as Kalispell and Missoula.

The show follows professional bounty hunters Mike “Animal” Zook and Rob Hoyt as they traverse through the Montana and Idaho wilderness tracking fugitives.

The season will take them through more than 3,000 miles of dense forests and rocky landscapes as they track the region’s most-wanted offenders, who have a history of charges ranging from arson to drug trafficking to assault.

Zook and Hoyt have worked together as bounty hunters for the past 10 years. The two met after working as security at the same bar. Now, they are considered the “go-to guys” for the area, according to press release, and have “mastered the art of ‘shock and awe’ in their approach to grabbing people.”

Episodes will also follow a bounty hunting team in Colorado.

The season will have 10 new one-hour episodes each Sunday at 8 p.m., debuting Jan. 11, on Animal Planet. For more information, visit www.animalplanet.com
