Welfare check requested for Bigfork woman

Someone called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office for a welfare check on a Bigfork woman who was “seeing people in her basement and talking to inter-dimensional characters” Thursday. An officer spoke to the woman’s neighbor, who said that the woman is doing well but would call if that changed.

A man was seen selling frozen meat out of a white pickup with Idaho plates in Whitefish on Thursday. 

A Whitefish man reported that his two dogs were hit by a train Tuesday night. 

Cyber-bullying was reported at a local school. 

Someone allegedly shot out car windows with a BB gun on Forest Drive in Kalispell. 

A Hungry Horse resident reported that someone is using their name and address for a chat room session and they received the bill for it. 

A deer got stuck in a fence in Whitefish on Wednesday morning and had to be put down.

A welfare check was requested on a Kalispell family that are alleged drug users. They also have a small child and the babysitter reportedly found needles in their diaper bag.

A Columbia Falls woman reported that her ex-husband has posted Craigslist ads looking for women that include selfies of him with their children, aged 7 and 2.

A young woman wearing a badge stopped at a Coram residence Tuesday afternoon saying that she was doing a study and that if the resident completed it, they would receive $30. 

A woman called Kalispell Police on Thursday saying that she needed to go to the hospital “because something is growing inside of her because she can’t take a shower because the property owner is a slumlord.” Police responded and the woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance. 

A motel employee on East Idaho Street reportedly found drug paraphernalia in a room along with other suspicious items, including paperwork related to the recent escapee from Missoula.

A man was seen walking up Fifth Avenue East screaming at the top of his lungs Thursday. According to the caller, the man does this often. 

A caller living on Airport Road reported that people have been drag racing down that street. 

A man called saying that the people who were arrested for a local scam last week had also scammed him.
