A teen reportedly pulled a knife on another student Friday at Glacier High School.

No one was injured in the incident during a fourth-period social studies class, according to an email update from Glacier Principal Callie Langohr.

The email sent to parents around 5 p.m., stated that Langohr and assistant principals would conduct a full investigation in addition to a separate investigation by Kalispell Police Department Officer and Glacier Student Resource Officer Chad Fetveit.

“At this point in the investigation, we believe it was an isolated incident that was over quickly. Because this type of behavior is not acceptable in our school, the offender is suspended until we complete due process and finalize our recommendation to the superintendent for an appropriate discipline consequence,” Langohr wrote.

Langohr closed the email by stating:

“Please know that your student’s safety is a top priority of ours and we will take the necessary steps to ensure their safety. I am available for further questions if needed.”
