Lori Stinger, 44

| January 19, 2015 6:49 PM

"The Lord said, 'Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.' And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them." Mark 10:15

And it was so for Lori. She came into the world on April 24,1970, in Kalispell. She looked at the world with awe, wonder, compassion and love. Fiercely strong, she was quick to forgive and quick to defend.

Lori Stinger, 44, passed away Jan. 12, 2015, at her Kila home after a seven-year battle with cancer. She was a true fighter all the way until the end. We will miss her deeply.

Lori was preceded in death by a grandfather, Rodney Johnson; a grandmother, Dorothy Johnson; grandfather, Paul Wirtzberger; and father, Erwin Grimm.

Lori is survived by her husband, Bill, and their children, Cody, Carly and Cole; mother, Ginger Grimm; sisters, Kristi Jones and husband Jason, and Robin Pritchett and husband Tony; a niece, Amanda Pritchett, and a nephew, Chris Pritchett; an uncle, Terry Wirtzberger; and mother-in-law, Becky Moore, and extended family, the Griswolds.

She lived with dreams, hopes and regrets. Lori loved her family with all her heart. As a mother and wife, she was our biggest fan. Though it was a long and difficult road, in the end it was worth every tear, heartache, up, down, in and out.

“We love you Lo, more than a million skies. We will see you when we get there.”

A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
