POLSON (AP) — A 53-year-old Charlo man has pleaded guilty to killing his brother in June during an argument over pickup repairs.

Harry Paul Lozeau pleaded guilty to deliberate homicide Wednesday for the death of 51-year-old Terry Lozeau as part of a plea agreement in which both sides will recommend a 40-year prison sentence.

District Judge James Manley scheduled sentencing for March 4.

Lozeau admitted shooting his brother in the head with a rifle on June 14 after his brother confronted him about why repairs to his pickup weren’t completed.

Court records say another brother, Edward Stasso, and his girlfriend witnessed the shooting.
