College trustee position open

The Flathead Valley Community College Board of Trustees is seeking a new board member following the death of trustee Ralene Sliter on Jan. 7.

The board is accepting letters of application for the position until Feb. 3. The successful applicant will serve on the board for the remainder of the three-year term, which ends in May.

Any subsequent terms will be three-year terms.

Candidates must be registered voters of Flathead County and must live in the Flathead/Glacier High School District.

Letters of application may be addressed to the President’s Office, Flathead Valley Community College, 777 Grandview Drive, Kalispell, MT 59901.

Interested applicants will be asked to appear before the board for an interview. An applicant will be selected Feb. 5.
