| July 1, 2015 6:58 PM

Dan L. “Napa Dan” Peterson, 59, passed away the 28th of June, 2015, at his home in Kalispell.

He was born Nov. 15, 1955, to Richard and Shirley Peterson and was raised in Orland, California.

His many accomplishments there included a Napa Auto Parts, Machine Shop, and lots of motorcycles. He decided to slow down the pace and moved with his family to Kalispell in 2001. When he realized he couldn’t slow down, he started another Napa Store in Bigfork.

Dan was a great businessman, a very hard worker and excellent talker, an amazing husband and father, and a great friend. He loved vintage motorcycles, flying, helping people, being active in charities, and his church, Easthaven Baptist.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jennifer; his children, Michelle, Jennifer, Katherine, Bryan and Jessica; his parents, Richard and Shirley Peterson; brother, Dave; sisters, Kathleen and Jeanine; along with his grandchildren, Hunter, Sophia, Lauren, Hannah, Gavin, Tyler, Grace and Jaymee. He also leaves behind his beloved companion Blue.

He was loved by so many, and will be missed by all.

His services will be held at 10 a.m. today, July 2, at his church, Easthaven Baptist, 2010 Whitefish Stage Road, Kalispell.

“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;

“but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” — Isaiah 40:28-31
