Kalispell man pleads not guilty to selling drugs

A Kalispell man accused of selling methamphetamine to a police informant has denied the charge.

Martin Rex Borninkhof, 51, entered a not guilty plea on June 25 in Flathead County District Court. He faces a felony count of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs.

The investigation was carried out by the Northwest Drug Task Force. According to court documents, agents set up a confidential informant to purchase drugs from Borninkhof, who was allegedly selling meth out of a Coram home.

Wearing an audio recording device, the informant bought one gram of meth, allegedly from Borninkhof. The substance was tested by the State Crime Lab.

Borninkhof was granted conditional release from jail on June 15. His next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 7.
