Lodge gives out Kindles to youths

The Bigfork Masonic Lodge has announced the winners of its Kindles for Kids program.

Kindles were awarded to students in Bigfork Middle School, Lakeside Elementary and Swan River School for the 2014-15 school year.

Sponsored by the Montana Masonic Foundation, the program encourages students to read.

Swan River winners included first-grader Taylor Johnson, second-grader Corban Benson, third-grader Fiona Vrapi, fourth-grader Aidan Walker and fifth-grader Fin Nadeau.

Lakeside winners included: kindergartner Wesley Simonson, first-grader Brodie Smith, second-grader Jada Uskoski, third-grader Trace Lenz, fourth-grader Elena Bialach and fifth-grader Ethan Thompson.

The names of Bigfork students were not available.
