Hellene V. Mitzel, 93

Hellene V. Mitzel, 93, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at the Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell.

Hellene Mitzel was born Oct. 12, 1921, in Newdale, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Byron Mitzel; mother, Bernice Fisher (Peddicord) Mitzel; son, Gary Lawrence Parker; daughter, Leslie Ann Pratt; sister, Jaqueline Brockman; and brother, Patrick Byron Peddicord.

Hellene is survived by her sons, Eric Bergethon of Colorado, and John Mitzel of Pennsylvania; granddaughter, Lisa Guinn of Kalispell, and her three children Megan, Jarrett and Kellan; along with Eddie Pratt Jr. and his two children, Chloie and Wyatt, with 10 other grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, scattered from Nevada, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Florida, Colorado and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

A memorial service was held on Monday, July 13, at Immanuel Lutheran Home, Kalispell.
