Alene Louise (Everett) Williams, 85

Alene Louise (Everett) Williams passed away on June 26, 2015, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Kauai, Hawaii, at the age of 85.  

Alene was born on April 28, 1930, in Kalispell to parents Rena and Ernest Everett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Rena Everett; sisters, Rosetta Carpenter, Irene Butterfield and Erna-Mae Everett; children, Carol Lee, Leslie Lynn and Betty Lou; and granddaughter, Raquel Blume.

She is survived by her husband, Don Williams; sister, Ardath Brown; brother, Irving Everett, and wife, Joyce; daughter, Linda (Williams) Jackson; son, Jack Williams, and wife, Sheri; and son, Mike Williams, and wife, Shari; grandchildren, Dale Williams, Don Blume, John Williams, Chris Williams, Travis Williams and Justin Williams; as well as many great-grandchildren and extended family.

She attended school in Kalispell. She married the love of her life at a home ceremony in Ellensburg, Washington, on Feb. 14, 1957. She lived in Ellensburg, Yakima and Seattle, Washington, in her adult life.

She did bookkeeping for their trucking business for many years. She was an accomplished artist with knitting and crocheting, and made many beautiful things for her family and friends. She also enjoyed hosting dinner parties and entertaining. She loved to go on cruises and traveled extensively throughout Europe, Africa, Australia and Hawaii. She and Don made their home in Hawaii in later years and were always by each other's sides, often seen holding hands as he called her "baby."

Alene was an exceptionally kind and generous mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She had grace, elegance and style inside, as well as out, and will be greatly missed.

Cremation has taken place and, per her wish, there will be no services.
