Whitefish looks to fill vacancies

The city of Whitefish has a number of vacancies to fill on various volunteer boards and committees.

Interested applicants should contact the city clerk’s office at 863-2400. Letters of interest will be accepted until the positions are filled.

Current openings include:

Whitefish Lake and Lakeshore Protection Committee has one seat for a county resident who owns lakefront property, and two at-large seats for city residents.
Whitefish Housing Authority Board has two vacancies. Applicants can be a city resident or anyone who lives within a 10-mile radius of Whitefish.
Whitefish Police Commission needs to fill one position. Applicants must be a city resident.
Ad Hoc Cemetery Committee has one seat open for a city or county resident.
Impact Fee Advisory Committee has three available seats. Openings are for a person in the development community, a certified public accountant and an at-large memebr. All applicants should live or work with city limits.
