Volunteers needed for rodeo

Montana’s finest young rodeo riders will converge on Kalispell June 8 to 14 for the Montana High School Rodeo Association State Finals.

More than 250 contestants and their families will travel from all parts of the state to participate in barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping and more.

Volunteers are needed to welcome the riders and their families to the Flathead Valley.

Volunteers will receive meals, snacks and wristbands for free admittance to the entire week’s events.  

Volunteer duties:

Monday, June 8 — Event set-up, morning shift.

Tuesday, June 9 — Event set-up, ticket sales, contestant check-in, morning and afternoon.

Wednesday, June 10 — Registration, camp check-in, traffic control, information office, afternoon and evening.

Thursday, June 11 —Ticket sales, information office, morning and afternoon.

Friday, June 12 — Ticket sales, information office, parking, spectator surveys, morning and evening.

Saturday, June 13 — Information office, parking, spectator surveys, ticket sales, morning and evening.

Sunday, June 14 — Information office, ticket program sales, awards ceremony.
