Bradley John Hall, 87
Bradley John Hall, 87, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on May 29, 2015.
Brad was born in Antigo, Wisconsin, on March 26, 1928.
Brad had been a dairy farmer during his younger years. Earning a teaching certificate, he then taught all eight grades in a Wisconsin one-room rural school. In 1967, he, with his wife, Geraldine, and the four older children moved to the Navajo Reservation, where Brad and Gerry taught in the Many Farms, Arizona, schools for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. During that time he earned his Master of Arts in Education degree from Northern Arizona University.
In 1972, the family transferred to the Southern Pueblos Agency where he was a teacher for the next 15 years.
Brad retired to Kalispell in 1987 where he once again enjoyed the outdoor activities of camping, fishing, hunting and gardening, as in his earlier years.
A favorite hobby was harmony singing. He had been a member of the barbershoppers choral groups, including the Valleyaires, for more than 38 years, as well as church and neighborhood choirs.
Bradley is survived by his spouse of 60 years, Geraldine (nee Van Mullem); also by his six children, James Hall, of Trinidad, Colorado, Philip Hall and Debra of Savage, Minnesota, Susan Marincel and Joseph of Flower Mound, Texas, Theresa McHarney and Andrew of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Timothy Hall and Regan of Centennial, Colorado, and Jonathan Hall and Carmen of Nine Mile Falls, Washington. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
