Jerry Ann (Morrison) Eby Hawley, 77

Jerry Ann (Morrison) Eby Hawley, 77, passed away from cancer at home May 18, 2015.

She was born Oct. 26, 1937, in Kansas City, Missouri, where she was raised.

On Nov. 19, 1955, she married Gerald Amber Eby in Browning. They were married for 13 years.

In 1972 she studied accounting at Flathead Valley Community College for a year.

She worked as seamstress and a waitress, starting at Gambles in Kalispell in 1968 and moving to Bonanza 88 in 1970, Stokholm Bar (as a bartender) in 1974, Lighter Side Restaurant, Orly’s Supper Club and the Husky truck stop from the mid-’70s through ’80s.

Jerry Ann was always a seamstress; she started sewing at a very young age. She made her sons’ socks when they were young men.

A lot of people knew Jerry Ann, and we will all miss her.

She is survived by her sons, Kraig, Monty, Michael and Doug Eby.

A private memorial was held on May 24. Cremation took place May 22.
