Man reports unwanted phone calls
A Somers Avenue man called the Whitefish Police Department to report someone using his phone number. He said he had received calls from collection agencies for debts he didn’t accrued and wanted them to stop.
A woman reportedly created a scene at the hospital. She was cursing at a doctor and was livid about something. The hospital was able to calm things down.
A Central Avenue bouncer wanted help with two men starting to fight in front of the bar. They were upset about being asked to show identification at the door.
Two teenagers allegedly accosted a woman at a gas station, asking her to buy them cigarettes. She denied the request and called the police.
Two drunken men walking home from the bars reportedly used O’Brien Avenue as a urinal. A resident heard them playing music and looked out to see the unfortunate waterworks.
A Cedar Street resident called authorities after an unknown person began ringing her doorbell frantically. It was only after this person came to the back door did the woman realize she knew the man. Law enforcement was called off.
A woman allegedly tried to steal a cart of groceries from a Columbia Falls grocery store, and was confronted by employees. The woman ran into the bathroom and the Columbia Falls Police Department was phoned. The shoplifter was caught on film but escaped the store.
