When life gives you lemons, call the cops?

A caller asked the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to check on a Shady Lane lemonade stand that was operated by “some young kids.” There were no arrests.

A truck was moving down 12th Avenue West in Columbia Falls with its door wide open, according to one call.

The Sheriff’s Office collected evidence on a possible theft of service. Someone had been dumping garbage in another’s trash can on U.S. 2 near Columbia Falls. The trash can owner was being charged extra for the pickup.

A man told police that he was trying to go camping, but his ex-girlfriend was threatening to burn his stuff.

One person just can’t stop accidentally dialing 911. Records showed 11 prior calls, and the latest came while the person was mowing the lawn.

An employee at a U.S. 2 business in Evergreen was reportedly met by a red-eyed man who was “foaming at the lips.”

A fight amongst kids on Nicholson Drive included swinging skateboards, punching and pushing, according to a witness. Two of them were cited for minor-in-possession of alcohol.

Other kids were reported throwing fireworks near Three Mile Drive. In a separate call, two girls were allegedly throwing rocks at cars near Montclair Drive.

Dispatch tracked a testosterone-fueled conversation following an accidental 911 call. According to the report, one man said he could bench press 250 pounds. Apparently, he could also squat 300 pounds.


A man who was walking around a central Kalispell bank was making employees nervous. Upon interview with the Kalispell Police Department, it was determined that he was just waiting for the place to open.

One caller reported a stray grocery bag, full of items and “suspicious,” sitting unattended on First Avenue East.

Police were called to a woman who locked herself in a U.S. 93 business’ bathroom. She had just had an argument with her boyfriend but was otherwise alright.

A man claimed that he and his wife were chased by someone wearing high heels on Eighth Avenue West.
