Marilyn Moyer, 63

| June 10, 2015 7:46 PM

Marilyn Moyer passed away peacefully on June 7, 2015, in Kalispell, at the too-early age of 63. She died on the birthdate of her mother, her best friend.

Marilyn was born of parents Bob and Charlotte Gianoli in August 1951, in Palo Alto, California. Her family moved to Ukiah, California, in 1959, where Marilyn continued school, graduating from Ukiah High School in 1969. She moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area to enter nursing school and worked in a local hospital, where she met her future husband, Don Moyer.

Don and Marilyn were married in February, 1979, in their home in Lake Tahoe, California. They moved to Santa Rosa and Healdsburg, where she worked in inside sales for an electric supply in Petaluma. Eventually they relocated to a home outside Bigfork. Her mother was a native of Whitefish, where Marilyn spent several happy summers growing up.

Marilyn enjoyed boating, camping and golfing with Don. She loved the outdoors, the sun, an occasional casino, and her family. She cherished the trips to Hawaii with her mom. Marilyn’s humor and laughter were infectious, her love and caring always evident. She is so missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Don, of Bigfork. They were together for 40 wonderful years. She is also survived by her brother, Alan Gianoli and wife Jo, of Columbia Falls; and her niece, Heather Hinkley, and family of San Jose, California.

Marilyn will be interred next to her mother at Whitefish Cemetery.
