Unhappy with C-Falls police chief

| June 10, 2015 9:00 PM

I have contacted the Columbia Falls city manager and made a complaint against Columbia Falls Police Chief Dave Perry. I believe he is not qualified to serve in that office.

I am a retired Flathead County deputy sheriff and I know there are a lot of people in Columbia Falls that have complaints and opinions about our chief. Standing alone it gets brushed off, so I am asking everyone who cares to fill the street in front of City Hall at the council meeting Monday, June 15, and stand together. Even if you can’t make it, you can call me at 892-8017 and I will take your complaint, so long as you are willing to be identified.

I have also already notified the Montana Department of Justice and the POST (Public-safety Officer Standards & Training) Council. —Gordon J. Barthel, Columbia Falls
