Gail Therese (Ceiplis) Luepkes, 76

Gail Therese (Ceiplis) Luepkes, 76, passed peacefully June 9, 2015, at the Veterans Home in Columbia Falls.

Gail was born May 30, 1939, in Chicago to Michael and Helen Ceiplis. She grew up there and attended Catholic school, graduating in 1957.

On Oct. 19, 1957, Gail married James Hiram Luepkes. They moved from Chicago to Henderson, Nevada, where she lived a few years as a homemaker before moving to Kalispell. Eventually they landed in Columbia Falls, calling it home.

Gail will be remembered with much love by the many people who loved her. She touched innumerable lives as she delivered papers on her bike and sold Avon for many years. She was a cheerful volunteer at the vets’ home from the beginning of her stay. She looked forward to “Dancing with the Stars” every Monday night with her daughter, Renee´.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Helen; and husband, James.

Surviving are her children, Michelle, Reneé, Michael, James and Dawn; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 22, at St. Richard’s Catholic Church in Columbia Falls. A reception with cookies and coffee will immediately follow downstairs.
