OPINION: Tester thanked for vote against Obama trade deal
Thank you, Sen. Tester, for your thoughtful input on the current trade deal discussion.
We appreciate people who think and analyze for themselves. Perhaps there is hope. Common sense and freedom in decision-making needs all the support and participation it can find.
We see some of the Democrats are now voting against TAA, TPA and TPP and are encouraged. We greatly appreciate having them join us in fighting the Trans-Pacific Partnership and its two essential parts. These are the three parts of the bill that would give control of America and its wealth to Obama to serve on a silver platter at the next NEW WORLD ORDER banquet.
I see the passage of this legislation as the endorsement of President Obama to act as the national key negotiator and administrator over trade and international contracts and economies. Our elected congressmen have had difficulty even gaining access to read this “trade” bill, which corporate officials and supporters have conveniently received electronically.
We need to keep ALL of Congress “in the loop” and working for us so we can eventually uncover the secret planning that has been going on concerning many issues, including our international commerce and trade upon which we depend to function as a nation. We also need to regain our “production” end of it. For that we need a Congress that understands “jobs” as opposed to ”unemployment checks” provided by a bankrupt federal government with no industries left to tax! Workers and retirees now fear for our savings and bank accounts.
I hope everyone on my mailing list has made their call to alert their congressmen/women to vote “no” on all three legs of the “citizen milking stool.” Especially TAA which is the Trade Adjustment Assistance bill to provide welfare for unfortunate people who need an income once our corporations have moved their factories overseas. Where is the line drawn on that one? Any and all who had applied for a job and were refused? Where are the details? Any limits on redistribution of our wealth?
Nancy Pelosi voted no on the first TAA try because the funding was not big enough. If she changes to yes on the next vote (possibly this week) it will indicate the pot has been sweetened to regain compassionate-minded voters. Sorry, Nancy.
Senator, please keep voting NO on TAA. —Clarice Ryan, Bigfork
