Helmer Kienzle, 83

Helmer Kienzle, 83, passed on June 15, 2015, with Loreina by his side at Lake View Care Center in Bigfork.

He was born in North Dakota on Oct. 9, 1931, to Bertha (Job) and Simon Kienzle. Helmer had one sister and three brothers.

Helmer married Loreina Dewald on Dec. 7, 1952, at the folk’s house in North Dakota.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956 as a mechanic and spent time in Germany. He worked as a tile contractor for many years. He loved snowmobiling, four wheeling, fishing and spending winters in Arizona with Loreina and many friends.

Helmer is preceded in death by his two sons, parents and his siblings.

He is survived by his wife Loreina and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Bigfork. A funeral will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery, Bigfork.
