Possible 'cat burglars' trigger alarms

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a security alarm triggered at a Montana 35 property. It was reported that there were a lot of cats around, and they may have tripped the alarm.

Horses were reportedly causing damage to a West Glacier golf course, and an employee wanted to know how he could handle the equestrian intrusion.

An empty tent was found next to U.S. 2 near Kalispell. It had apparently been used recently.

Credit card transactions appeared on a woman’s deceased father’s account.

A man called 911 but did not report an emergency. He did say that he was a “citizen of the United States” and was being harassed at a West Glacier playground.

The Whitefish Police Department received a call about an elderly woman wearing a red dress who looked “like she’s trying to get someone to stop” along U.S. 93. She had locked her keys in her car and an officer helped.

Multiple vehicles had been entered improperly on West Seventh Street, Spokane Avenue and West Fourth Street. Most of the vehicles were unlocked and had something stolen.A person on East First Street reported money missing from a locked vehicle as well.

A woman told police that she saw a man take the stereo out of her car on West Idaho Street. She also wanted to report an “almost manslaughter” and robbery.

A woman told the Columbia Falls Police Department that a friend took her car to go to the gas station and never returned. The woman didn’t have proof of ownership, however.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of burglary at Songer Road.
