Jack Beard of Kalispell ascends a snow couloir Saturday morning beneath the Lithoid Cusp in Glacier National Park. Beard slipped in the snow, slid 200 down the chute over rocks and a waterfall and was rescued by Two Bear Air. (David Steele photo)
