Lakers AA finish 3rd at Sells tournament

HELENA — The Kalispell Lakers AA rode a powerful offense to an 8-4 victory over Butte to finish in third place at the Keith Sells Memorial American Legion baseball tournament on Sunday.

The Lakers scored four runs in the first inning and rode a strong pitching performance from Tiler Whiteaker to the victory, who allowed only four runs in six innings.

The Lakers continue their road trip this week, playing a doubleheader in Billings on Tuesday.
