Eviction disruptive to residents (who may need help in some cases)

Upon learning of our eviction from Greenwood Hills Assisted Living, understandably I felt lambasted, manipulated, that I was no longer a human being whose disability needs were ignored and of no apparent consequence.

I called the Inter Lake and both television stations in an attempt to shed a light on our plight. I want to give a HUGE thanks to the staff at the Inter Lake for taking the situation seriously and giving us an almost immediate voice.

A number of the residents (including myself) do not have a place to go. While our eviction is inhuman and appears to have been done with no compassion (after all, the trailer court complex which Dennis Rasmussen evicted and evacuated was given more notice than 30 disabled and mostly elderly people), we will survive.

Might I ask for volunteers to help those that have found other dwellings in their move? Thank you. —Elsie Milliren, Kalispell
