A woman called the Whitefish Police Department to report that she believed her friend “has issues,” and wondered if she could trust him.

A toddler was reportedly left in a car at a restaurant on U.S. 93. Responding officers found the child’s family was inside the restaurant while the toddler slept, and the parents had “eyes on her the whole time.”

A woman was heard screaming “Why did you bring me here on this dark road?” near a home on O’Brien Avenue. Responding officers found nothing out of the ordinary.

Two males were moving up and down Central Avenue, hitting each other and “throwing punches.”

A large, brown pit bull was barking at people “nonstop” on the corner of Grace Road, and reported to the Columbia Falls Police Department.

Strange items were found on the walking path near 11th Avenue West. Responding officers removed the items from public.

A dead deer was found on U.S. 2 east of Columbia Falls. Responding officers found the deer to be in “good shape” and attempted to contact local food banks to report the find.

A distress call was received from a woman on First Avenue West. She asked for help, but sounded intoxicated. The woman did not indicate why she needed help, and hung up on dispatch. Responding officers were unable to locate the woman.

Kalispell Police Department responded to a man who reportedly fired a shot into the air while arguing with his girlfriend on Second Avenue East. The male apparently yelled “How high are you right now?” before firing. No one was harmed.

“Nice” patio furniture was reported missing from a business on Main Street.
