The Von Trapps

THE VON TRAPPS, who began their music career in the Flathead Valley as young children, now live in Portland and currently are on tour with their indie-pop band. They will release an EP of their original music in mid-April. From left are Sofia, 26, August, 20, Melanie, 24, and Amanda, 23. They are the great-grandchildren of Capt. Georg and Maria von Trapp, whose singing family was made famous by the 1965 musical, “The Sound of Music.”
