Restaurant raises money for diabetes research

HuHot Mongolian Grill in Kalispell is raising money and awareness for diabetes research this week.

On Thursday, 100 percent of the restaurant’s proceeds will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. It’s the third year HuHot has set aside a day’s proceeds to help research efforts in finding a cure for Type 1 diabetes.

“The more people come, the more money we donate,” said Curtis Wagner, director of operations for HuHot Mongolian Grill in Kalispell. “It’s all about the recognition we can bring to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, to reach as many people in the Flathead Valley to come for one day to be part of a worthy cause of helping children.”

HuHot Mongolian Grill is located at 130 Hutton Ranch Road in Kalispell. Restaurant hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
