Zinke holds town-hall meeting in Kalispell

Montana’s lone congressman, Republican Rep. Ryan Zinke, will be in Kalispell Thursday to hold a town-hall meeting at Flathead Valley Community College.

The meeting is open to the public and will last from 11 a.m. to noon in the college’s Arts and Technology Building.

Zinke will open the meeting with a brief legislative update, then turn the microphone over to the audience to take questions.

Three months into his freshman term in the U.S. House of Representatives, Zinke serves on the House Armed Services and Natural Resources committees.

Zinke, from Whitefish, was a U.S. Navy SEAL for 23 years and is a former state senator.
