FVCC candidate asks for your support

| May 2, 2015 9:00 PM

I would like to thank all who have taken time to learn more about the Flathead Valley Community College Board of Trustees election.  FVCC is one of the valley’s largest assets and I am energized to see the community validating the college’s significance by asking questions and voting for its trustees.

FVCC has demonstrated a commitment to the Flathead for many years and has developed strong relationships with the business community. My company, Kramer Enterprises, and many others have benefited from the programs and courses provided by the college. The college’s training programs have empowered these companies to hire locally and to invest in valuable professional development for employees.

FVCC is critical to our community’s long-term success, and seeing the Flathead Valley thrive is a top priority for me. That is why I have committed myself to serving our community in a variety of ways for 27 years. During this time, I was privileged to teach for five years in School District 5 and to be part of numerous non-profit boards and organizations. At the request of, and on behalf of FVCC, I have testified at the state Legislature and I am prepared to be their advocate.

These experiences, in addition to the education I personally gained from attending a community college, have enabled me to build a business, provide quality jobs for Flathead Valley residents and give back to the community.

Those with questions are welcome to call me at 406-261-5135.  Thank you for your support and remember to return your ballots by Tuesday, May 5. —Terry Kramer, Kalispell
